Fine Craft: Ceramics

Fine Craft: Ceramics at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD) introduces students to a full range of clay and glazes, hand-building and wheel-throwing, and various construction and firing methods including raku, gas and electric kilns.  Production techniques are introduced throughout the curriculum, together with an entrepreneurial focus.

Instructors with extensive professional experience and fully-equipped studios help prepare graduates for successful and rewarding careers as owners of their own studios, teachers, and award-winning ceramic artists.

The College campus is located in downtown Fredericton, a designated Cultural Capital of Canada.  A campus library and store, and nearby bookstores, boutiques, cafes and art galleries help create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
