Fashion: Textile Design

Fashion: Textile Design by the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design (NBCCD) is offered as an option within the 2-year Fashion Diploma.  Students develop a theoretical and practical knowledge of knitted and printed textiles.  The curriculum is underpinned by the use of software as well as traditional textile design processes, providing a creative and practical education in textile design that fits the needs of industry, or freelance design.

Instructors will extensive professional experience, fully-equipped studios and labs, and a curriculum combinging skill development with an entrepreneurial focus prepares graduates for successful and rewarding careers throughout the textiles and fashion industries, including carpet and fashion design, fashion decor, and freelance consulting.

The College campus is located in downtown Fredericton, a designated Cultural Capital of Canada.  A campus library and store, and nearby bookstores, boutiques, cafes and  art galleries help create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.
