Q. What is the cost of tuition for International students?A. Tuition for full-time International students is $6,000 per year. Part-time International students pay $320 per credit per semester (most courses are 2 credits).

Q: Is the application process at the College of Craft & Design different for international students?
A: All International students must fill out a special International student application form and submit it to the College by June 31 for enrolment the upcoming Fall semester. International students must also  obtain a student visa and all appropriate documentation to travel to Canada. For more information about obtaining a student visa, please click here.

Q. How do I obtain a student visa?A. International students must complete the following steps to obtain a student visa:

  1. Check the application processing times (don’t leave it too late!).
  2. Obtain and print the application.
  3. Collect the documents you need to apply.
  4. Complete your application for a study permit.
  5. Pay the correct processing fee.
  6. Check your application.
  7. Submit the application form.
  8. Supply additional information or documents as required.

Q. Can I work while I am studying in Canada?A. If you are an International student with a student visa enrolled as a full-time student at the College of Craft & Design you are allowed to work while studying with a special student work visa. Q. Is there an English requirement?A. All International students are required to speak English as an additional language before attending the College of Craft & Design. Proof of fluency can be presented through the successful completion of an English Speaking Language (ESL) Program or by successfully passing a T.O.E.F.L. English test. The University of New Brunswick currently offers English Speaking Language (ESL) programs and the T.O.E.F.L. English test to International students.
