WhiteFeather holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts from the University of New Brunswick as well as a Diploma in Fine Craft (Textiles) from the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design. She has shown her work in several solo exhibitions throughout the Maritime region, as well as in numerous group and collaborative exhibitions. Her textile-based work has been featured in Mix Magazine, Surfacing Journal, Arts Atlantic, Green Banana and the CBC. WhiteFeather has received multiple awards, grants and scholarships from a variety of sources, including the Canada Council for the Arts and the New Brunswick Arts Board. She also received the 2005 New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts “Emerging Artist of the Year” award. WhiteFeather teaches in the Fibre Arts studio at the College and has also taught at the Centre for Arts and Technology in Fredericton. She has taught at the College since 2001.
