Trudy is one of Canada’s foremost jewellery designers and a much celebrated craft entrepreneur. She has been in business for 17 years, selling her work across North America and in Europe. She was one of 10 women recognized by Atlantic Business Magazine as a “Top 50 CEO”, has been nominated for an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Award, and was recently designated one of the Atlantic Canada Opportunity Agency’s top 14 success stories. She was one of 26 Canadian artisans featured at the 2007 “Year of Craft” exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Craft. Trudy is the current President of the New Brunswick Craft Council, and has served on the board for 9 years. She has been teaching in the Metal/Jewellery Arts studio at the College since 2001.
