Karen Ruet, Dipl, BA

Karen RuetKaren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Acadia University (English Literature and Political Science) and a Diploma in Fine Craft (Photography) from the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design. She is a writer and photographer for the “Telegraph-Journal” and teaches photojournalism at St Thomas University. Karen is a founding member of the Fredericton Photography Collective, “SilverFish”, and has shown in numerous group exhibitions She has worked as a practicum assistant to Barbara Astman and won the College’s most prestigious award to a graduating student, the Duffie-Crowell award. In addition to teaching Photography, Karen acts as coordinator for the College Gallery and has been teaching at the College since 2000.
