Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Mount Allison University and a Certificate in Adult Education from the University of New Brunswick. She has 14 years experience in costume production, concentrating on men’s tailoring, and 7 years’ experience in wardrobe management. She has worked for such well-known stages as the Stratford and Shaw Festivals, the National Ballet and The Banff Centre. Her work on costume reproduction and textile restoration/conservation has been shown at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, the New Brunswick Museum and Kings Landing Historical Society. Joanne has been teaching at the College since 1997, primarily in the Fashion studio.
