Jane holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor degree in Education from the University of New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Design from Sheridan Institute. Her current studio practice combines painting and mixed media techniques and her paintings have been shown in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Her art is represented in private collections throughout Canada as well as in England, Holland, and the USA. She has acted as advisor and juror for many design competitions and has given workshops and lectures on art, design and creativity for Colleges and Universities throughout North America, in India and France. Jane is a regular contributor to a design column for the Telegraph-Journal and works as a freelance designer. She is Head of Design and has been an instructor at the College since 1982.
