Jan holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of New Brunswick, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Newport College, United Kingdom, and an Art Teacher’s Diploma from Liverpool University, UK. She has experience as Art Director in a variety of advertising and marketing agencies in Canada and the UK. The former creative head of the in-house design studios of two major international corporations, her work includes a wide range of publicity, marketing and exhibition materials. Jan has also worked as an instructional designer for the University of New Brunswick and was instrumental in the development of online courses for the New Brunswick Critical Care Nursing Program. Jan has taught Graphic Design in schools and colleges in the UK and has been teaching at the College since 2000.
