Ellen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick and has studied historical costuming at Dalhousie University. She has extensive experience in costume design and has worked for theatres at the University of Calgary, Stratford Festival, Theatre Plus in Toronto, Neptune Theatre in Halifax and Theatre New Brunswick in Fredericton. She operated her own custom couture fashion design business for seven years in Fredericton and has exhibited her work in New Brunswick galleries. Ellen is Coordinating Instructor of Fashion and has taught at the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design since 1997.
